No more drudgery of uploading your runs to a web site and having to go there to analyze your progress. HandyStats keeps a history of all your runs and has tools to analyze and compare them. The unique ∑ (sum) page shows totals for selected runs and compares them in a table view. You will see lap by lap how each run compares, and visually see your progress.
If you still want to use a fitness web site no problem, HandyStats will output a TCX file that you can upload.
Virtual Pacemaker: The Pacemaker will run at your selected target pace. Voice announcements will let you know if youre falling behind or going too fast.
Adjustable Screen Layouts: Wherever you see a stat, you can change what stat is displayed there by touching the blue name. There are over 40 different stats to choose from. Select from stats for the whole run, stats for the current lap, and other stats such as your estimated Finish Time, Current Pace etc.
Voice Announcements: You dont want to look at your phone during the run? No Problem! Put the phone in your pocket and forget about it. HandyStats has many voice options to choose from so you can hear your progress as you run. HandyStats will even announce when you have returned to the start point so you dont forget to press End. You can listen to music with your favourite music App and HandyStats will voice over the music.
New Heat Map! This shows all of your runs on 1 map. Repeated routes appear darker. You can also filter the runs so only those that match your filter will show on the heat map.
Some of the other features:
- The Start page gives you a quick summary of your recent run totals. The summary uses adjustable date ranges (This Week Last Week This Month Last 10 days etc).
- One button operation: Press GO! at the start of your run, press End when youre done. There is no need to interact with the phone during your run if you dont want to. Adjustable voice announcements will tell you what you need to hear when you need to hear it.
- The Map view shows your progress on a map. Choose your 6 most important stats to show on this page. Select from 14 different map types including Satellite, Street maps, Google Maps and more.
- Select Metric or Imperial display (Meters or Miles)
- Autopause will pause the run when you stop (like at a stop light). Or shut autopause off and use the Pause button.
- Auto Lap with adjustable lap distance. Or shut auto lap off and use the Lap button.
- Run Walk timer with voice announcements.
- The Run Log keeps a complete history of your runs. Filter the list by keyword, dates, run distance and then compare the runs in the filtered list.
- Unique run comparator shows selected runs in a table view broken out by lap so you can compare your progress. Superimpose an elevation graph (or target pace, or pacemaker graph) over the lap breakouts.
- Run Stats view lets you look in detail at any run in the Log. Step through each lap and see stats for each.
- Export runs in TCX (for fitness web sites) or KML (for Google Earth) format.
- Import routes in GPX (from fitness web sites and other sources) or KML (from other HandyStats users or Google Earth) format.
- Select a route and see it on the map. See/hear distance remaining, estimated finish time, off-route warning.
- Set Flags on the map and HandyStats can read out their name when you approach (e.g. Turn Left Here).
- Set voice announcements to occur at the end of each lap, or on a regular timed interval. Announcements options include such things as: Current pace, run pace, lap pace, distance, time, distance to go, estimated finish total time, end of lap, off route, run paused and more.
Note: From the time you press GO! till the time you press End this App will use the GPS even if the phone is shut off. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
